Hi there, my name is Anik Islam Pantha.

I graduated from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I have completed my undergraduate study with a CGPA of 3.54 out of 4.00. In my final four semesters, I maintained an average CGPA of 3.70, with an even higher average of 3.78 in the last two semesters. Currently, I am employed as a Software Engineer at CodeCrafters International Ltd. Alongside my job, I am actively engaged in several research projects, including one focused on forecasting dengue outbreaks and another on analyzing stock price trends.

  • Performed extensive data preprocessing and manual annotation based on the sentiments.
  • Performed comparative study among various ML and DL models including transformaer architecture like BERT.

Research Project

Dengue Admission Rate Prediction

  • Working in this research project under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Eunus ( Professor of CSE, BUET) and Dr. Tanzima Hashem (Professor of CSE, BUET)
  • Created a dataset of Dengue admission incidence of 50+ hospitals and 64 districts in Bangladesh spanning a timeline of 5 years.
  • Collected weather dataset for 64 districts of Bangladesh.
  • Modeled an LSTM architecture with Graph Neural Network to capture spatio-temporal attributes.

Stock Price Prediction

  • Working in this research project under the supervision of Dr. Sadia Sharmin (Associate Professor of CSE, BUET).
  • Created a dataset of nearly 8 years of stock data and relevant macroeconomic and socio-economic data.
  • Modeled a multi-layer LSTM architecture with ensemble strategies.
